Support & FAQ
Answers about accounts, data, odds, and responsible gambling. Can't find what you need? A dedicated support address isn't set up yet.
Account & sign-in
How do I create an account?
Use the Sign in link in the header, then "Create account" with an email and password. This is a real AWS Cognito account - you'll get a confirmation code by email to verify before you can sign in.
Can I sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook?
Not yet - only email/password is available right now. Social sign-in is planned but requires registering this app with each provider first.
I forgot my password / didn't get a confirmation code.
Use "Resend code" on the confirmation screen for a missing code. For a forgotten password, use the reset flow on the sign-in page - if the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check spam before trying again (resending too quickly can trigger Cognito's rate limit).
Theme & accessibility
How do I switch between light, dark, and system theme?
Open the theme control in your account settings. "System" follows your OS/browser preference automatically; Light and Dark are explicit overrides saved to this browser.
Is the site accessible with a screen reader or keyboard only?
Every interactive element has a visible focus outline for keyboard navigation, and text colors are checked against WCAG AA contrast minimums (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) in both themes. If you find a specific element that doesn't meet that bar, report it - see "Data corrections" below for how.
Odds & model data
Where do the live odds come from, and how fresh are they?
Live prices come from a licensed odds aggregator (The Odds API) covering major US sportsbooks. The site caches each fetch for up to 5 minutes to control API usage, so the "Updated" timestamp next to the odds panel tells you exactly how current what you're looking at is.
What does "model probability" and "no-vig fair probability" mean?
The model probability is this site's own prediction, produced by a statistical model trained on historical results - it is not a sportsbook price. A sportsbook's posted odds always include their built-in margin ("vig"); no-vig fair probability removes that margin so you can compare the book's implied probability to the model's on equal footing. Neither number is a guarantee of the outcome.
What does "model record" / backtest accuracy mean?
Each league page shows the model's real, graded track record against completed games (e.g. "1699-910, 65.1%") - not a simulation. Held-out backtest accuracy (reported per league) reflects performance on data the model never trained on.
A game or player is missing from the board.
The site shows real data only - if a game, player, or stat is missing, it's because the underlying data wasn't available (e.g. incomplete box scores, an unconfirmed lineup) rather than something being hidden. It's never filled in with a guess.
Responsible gambling
Is this site giving me betting advice?
No. Everything here - model predictions, odds displays, edge calculations - is informational only, not a recommendation to place any wager. No outcome is guaranteed.
Where can I get help with problem gambling?
In the US, call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-522-4700, available 24/7 and confidential. If gambling has stopped being fun, that's a good time to reach out.
Bet tracking & notifications
Can I track my own bets on the site?
Yes - your account has a bet tracker with manual entry and a bet-slip import tool, currently scoped to MLB. Entries are tied to your signed-in account.
Do I get push notifications?
The mobile app can register your device for push notifications, but sending isn't wired up yet - registration is real, delivery isn't live. There's no notification you're missing right now.
Data corrections & privacy
I found incorrect data - how do I report it?
Contact support with the specific page, team/player, and date. Corrections to real errors get fixed at the source; the site doesn't quietly overwrite data without knowing what was wrong.
How do I delete my account or data?
Contact support to request account deletion. Your Cognito account and any bet-tracker data tied to it will be removed.
Troubleshooting
A page looks broken or a chart isn't loading.
Try a hard refresh first (the site ships new data and code frequently). If it persists, note the page URL, your theme, and browser/device, and contact support - screenshots help a lot.
