How to Use The Lab AI

Sign up

Click Sign in in the header, then Sign Up. You can create an account with an email and password, or use Continue with Google to skip the password entirely. Email/password sign-ups get a confirmation code by email that has to be entered before you can sign in.

Optional: add two-factor authentication

In Account Settings, you can add and verify a phone number, then turn on SMS two-factor authentication. Once enabled, sign-in asks for a text-message code in addition to your password.

Pick a sport

MLB, NFL, and NBA are in the main header. Click Morefor KBO, WNBA, NCAAF, NCAAB, Soccer, and Tennis. Each league page shows today's games with model predictions and live odds side by side.

Read a game card

Each card shows the matchup, live odds from sportsbooks, the model's own predicted probability, and the "no-vig fair probability" - the sportsbook's price with their built-in margin removed, so you can compare it to the model on equal footing.

Model probability vs. the market

The model probability is this site's own prediction from a statistical model trained on historical results - it is not a sportsbook price. Comparing it to the no-vig fair probability shows you where the model and the market disagree.

Confidence tiers

Picks are grouped into confidence tiers based on how strong the model's signal is for that category. Higher confidence means the model's historical calibration has been stronger in that range - it is not a guarantee.

Model record

Every league page shows the model's real, graded track record against completed games (for example "1699-910, 65.1%"), plus a held-out backtest accuracy figure measured on data the model never trained on. Neither number predicts any single game's outcome.

What's tracked

The player-props board covers pitcher strikeouts, and two hitter markets: hits + runs + RBI (H+R+RBI) combined, and hits at the 0.5 line. Each prop shows the model's probability the same way game picks do.

Betting Tools page

The Betting Tools link in the header collects cross-league prediction views and edge calculations in one place.

Bet tracker

From your account, you can log your own bets manually or import a bet slip. Entries are tied to your account and are currently scoped to MLB.

Theme

Switch between Light, Dark, or System theme from Account Settings. System follows your device/browser preference automatically.

Phone & two-factor auth

Add or update your phone number, verify it by code, and toggle SMS two-factor auth on or off.
