Who we are

The Lab AI (thelabai.net) is a sports statistics and prediction site. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site or create an account, and how it's used.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, and (if you choose to add it) phone number for optional SMS two-factor authentication.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider - only what's needed to create and identify your account. We never receive your Google password.

If you use the bet tracker, we store the bet entries you enter or import - this data is tied to your account and used only to display your own tracking history back to you.

How we use your information

Account information is used to authenticate you, maintain your session, and show you your own saved data (bet tracker entries, theme preference). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third-party marketers.

Where data is stored

Account and authentication data is stored with AWS Cognito. Other account-linked data is stored in AWS infrastructure operated by The Lab AI. We use standard provider-level security controls (encryption in transit, access-controlled infrastructure) to protect this data.

Third-party sign-in

If you sign in with Google, that provider's own privacy policy also applies to their handling of your data. We only request the minimum profile scopes (name, email) needed to create your account, and you can revoke this site's access at any time from your Google account settings.

Your choices

You can update your name and phone number from your account settings at any time. To delete your account and associated data, or to ask what data we hold about you, contact support (see the Support & FAQ page) with the email address on your account.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
